Our Speech-Language Pathologists provide services that help to improve skills in such areas as: feeding/swallowing, articulation, fluency, voice, auditory and reading comprehension, expressive (oral & written) language, phonemic awareness (decoding and encoding sounds for reading fluency), and pragmatics (social language skills).  Our Social Skills Groups are designed to improve pragmatic and overall communication skills.


Children’s Evaluation & Therapy Center’s highly trained Occupational Therapists assist children with improving fine motor, visual perception, and cognition through purposeful everyday activities. Specific areas addressed include: hand skills, sensory integration functioning, eating (feeding/swallowing), self-care, social skills, and play/leisure skills, as well as improving organizational skills.

Our skilled Physical Therapists assist our pediatric clients in improving mobility or movement throughout the client’s natural or school environment.

Telespeech (speech therapy via the internet) is available!  Telespeech creates highly flexible scheduling options and allows your child to receive therapy in the comfort or convenience of home, daycare, or school! For nearly two (2) years, Children’s Evaluation & Therapy Center has utilized Telespeech to provide speech-language therapy services to it’s distant clients. We are a proven Telehealth (Telespeech) Provider that has successfully delivered weekly pediatric speech language pathology services as far away as Dubai, United Arab Emirates. Video Available HERE

We also provide comprehensive developmental assessments for young children. Through Children’s Evaluation & Therapy CenterMultidisciplinary Team Process, we can also conduct assistive technology and augmentative/alternative communication assessments and therapy.

Each Educational Diagnostician conducts comprehensive educational testing and provides supplementary academic support. When appropriate, instruction is provided in accordance with a student’s Individualized Education Program (IEP) to enhance academic performance and progress in core content areas. We also provide Special Education Consultation & School Collaboration services to assist parents with:

  • Working collaboratively with their child’s public, private, or charter school to resolve differences and mutually decide how best to meet their child’s educational needs
  • Determining a child’s need for educational assessments and special education services

Our Feeding Friends program is designed for children aged 4-6. Children will participate in thematic, small group therapy sessions designed to stimulate oral motor and sensory development through food and sensory play.

  • Toddler’s Talk (Social-Communication Skills)

Our Toddlers’ Talk (ToTs) program is designed for children aged 2-3. Toddlers will participate in thematic, small group therapy sessions designed to stimulate speech and language development while enriching their social skills development (e.g., eye contact, turn taking, sharing, identifying feelings of self and others, and establishing friendships).

  • Pencil Pals (Fine Motor/Visual-Perceptual Skills Development)

Our Pencil Pals program is designed for children ages 4-5 years old. Children will participate in small, group sessions designed to develop the skills a child needs for handwriting. Participation in the group will help build foundational skills for handwriting through a multisensory approach, games, songs, and crafts.
